Information you supply: uploaded files, shortened URLs, passwords and descriptions attached to links, and contact details given when writing to us. Information recorded automatically: source IP address, access time, browser and operating-system type, referring page, and counts of link openings. Optional sign-in data: where Google or Facebook sign-in is used, only basic identifying fields are obtained, used to display and manage the links you created; your social-account password is never received. We do not request national identification numbers, financial account details, or comparable sensitive data, and ask that such information not be included in uploads or correspondence.

3. Why We Use It

To operate short-link generation, file hosting, and link management; to maintain stability and security, including anomaly detection, prevention of automated abuse, and attack mitigation; to compile usage statistics that guide improvements; to handle enquiries, reports, and removal requests; and to meet legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.

4. How Passwords Are Handled

Passwords set on links are stored after one-way processing and cannot be reversed by the Site. We therefore cannot look up or disclose the password for any link; if it is forgotten, the content must be uploaded again. Please keep your passwords safe.

5. Retention

Uploaded media is retained for at most thirty days by default, or a shorter period you select, then deleted automatically. Plain URL shortening stores no file, so those mappings persist long-term. Technical records such as connection logs are kept for the period necessary for operations and legal compliance, and may be retained longer where a report or judicial matter is pending.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

Personal data is never sold, rented, or exchanged for marketing purposes.
